Our Work

Youth Co-Op is an organization whose focus is to serve youth and families in their quest to become financially independent and self-sufficient. For 50 years it has been changing the lives of thousands through training, access to jobs and mentoring. A customer-friendly approach in service delivery is YCI’s trademark. Staff and management combine the business acumen with the non-profit principle of bettering the communities in which we operate.

Our Services

YCI has expanded our highly successful workforce and youth programs to assist clients and business enterprises in reaching their highest potential through these services and resources.

Education

Since 1973, Youth Co-Op has educated students, youth, individuals, families, jobseekers, and newcomers in the U.S. The first “e” of our e3 philosophy, our mission to educate, forms a solid foundation upon which rests all of the other services we offer.

Employment

Youth Co-Op helps to educate those whom we are privileged to serve so they may compete in the workplace and get good jobs or better jobs. We help to employ our youth, participants, and clients.

Empowerment

Youth Co-Op believes that by assisting people to improve their education and enter employment, we help to empower them to lead rewarding lives independent of government help. Each day, our trained professionals empower our students, youth, families, and jobseekers.
