Paulina Velez is the Youth Program Manager at Youth Co Op Inc., located in Miami, Florida. For over 20 years, she has managed youth program related services, including Workforce Programs, Comprehensive Refugee, and Immigrant Services as well as programs funded by various Federal, State, and local agencies. She has a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Human Resources (Chapman Honor Council Award-Academic Excellence), and bachelor’s in psychology from Florida International University. Her workforce program experience has allowed her to learn all aspects of employment laws, regulations and understanding of employer needs. She was nominated for the Workforce Professional Champion Award. Her work history reflects an extensive track record in positions where customer service/satisfaction is the essence. She is a Florida Certified Workforce Professional, former Member of Society of Human Resources (SHRM), The National Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi). She currently serves as volunteer member and President of the International Association of Charities (AIC), Ladies of Charities of Miami.
