Christine Azor joined Youth Co-Op as Comptroller in 2023. She brought over 20 years of nonprofit financial experience including managing complex projects and multiple priorities. Her ability to keep sight of the big picture, present and communicate effectively with executives and her intellectual curiosity have been key factors in her nonprofit journey. Christine served as Assistant Controller at Spectrum Programs where she supervised the daily activities of the department.
Christine spent 14 years in the Finance Department of South Florida Workforce where she held the positions of Assistant Controller and Assistant Director of Finance. In these roles, her responsibilities ranged from supervision and approval of daily accounting operations, including contracts, grants, and budgets, to the direction, oversight and management of financial audits and monitoring. In her last assignment prior to joining Youth Co-Op, Christine served as Sr. Vice President of Finance for CareerSource Broward, where she provided strategic leadership to finance operations.
Christine is an integral part of our executive team and an asset to the organization!
