With over 20 years of experience in education and school leadership, Leisy E. Reitz currently serves as the Principal of Youth Co-Op Charter School and Youth Co-Op Preparatory High School in Hialeah, Florida.
Since joining Youth Co-op in 1998, Leisy has held a variety of key roles, including Principal’s Secretary/Office Manager, Teacher, Lead teacher, and Assistant Principal, where she was instrumental in shaping school operations, budgeting, staffing, and academic programs. In December 2023, she stepped into the role of Principal, where she now leads the school’s academic vision, manages daily operations, and works closely with staff, students, and families to foster a safe, enriching learning environment.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Professional Administration from Barry University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She is certified in Elementary Education (K–6), Educational Leadership (All Grades), and holds an ESOL Endorsement.
Known for her strategic planning, collaborative leadership, and dedication to excellence, Leisy continues to lead with a commitment to empowering both students and educators for lifelong success.
